Paper Recycling
Paper Drop-off Recycling If you have paper materials to recycle, please consider using the drop-off containers located at Manchester West and at the IGA parking lot. The money generated from these collections goes to a fund to provide scholarships to Perry graduates for advanced education and training. See bins for detail.
Special Collection Events
Lake County Solid Waste District and Ohio State University Extension
Lake County offers special collection events for tires, household hazardous waste, phone books, as well as Christmas tree chipping.
Pharmaceutical Drug Disposal
Lake County General Health District and Lake County Solid Waste announce pilot program for the continuous collection and disposal of pharmaceutical drugs.
Yard Waste
Perry Township Yard Waste Center located at the Road Garage on Webb Road. Per current contract, yard waste collecting is included in your weekly collections. Collection is on the regularly scheduled refuse collection day. Drop off is only available weather permitting typically between the months of April through November. Yard waste must be:
- Containerized
- Bagged, and/or tied in bundles
- Only compostable paper bags for all vegetation/clippings
- Bags not to exceed a maximum weight of 40 pounds
- Branches, brush, and trimmings cannot exceed 4 inches in diameter and must be securely tied in bundles with a circumference no greater than 18 inches and a length not to exceed 4 feet
