Snow Parking Ban
A snow parking ban is in effect on all Perry Village roadways when snowfall equals 2 or more inches. This will allow for maintaining and clearing of all roadway surfaces. Any vehicles parking on public roadways during snow emergencies could be removed at the owners’ expense.

Perry Village Awarded ODNR Grant for New Pickleball Courts at Lee Lydic Park
PERRY, OH — The Village of Perry is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a $55,052 grant from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) for the construction of new pickleball courts at Lee Lydic Park.
The funding was awarded through the ODNR NatureWorks Grant Program, which provides financial assistance to local communities for the creation and improvement of public outdoor recreation areas. This exciting project will enhance the amenities at Lee Lydic Park and promote community health, recreation, and engagement for residents of all ages.
The grant application was developed through the dedicated efforts of the Parks Committee, led by Co-Chair Councilwoman Ashley Hacking, Councilman Mike Glover, Fiscal Officer John Roskos, and Park Committee members, with strong support from Mayor Jim Gessic and the Perry Village Council.
“This grant represents another important investment in our community’s parks and recreation,” said Councilwoman Hacking. “We are grateful for the support of ODNR and for the teamwork that made this award possible.”
ODNR has indicated that all grant awards are pending final approval by the State Controlling Board, after which funds will be released for project implementation. Construction planning will begin once final approval is received. A copy of the ODNR award notification letter is available for review on the Village website.

549.09 THROWING OR SHOOTING MISSILES.
(a) No person shall throw, shoot or propel an arrow, missile, pellet, stone, metal or other similar substance capable of causing physical harm to persons or property, in or on any public place, in or on the property of another, or from any private property into or onto any public place or the property of another. This section does not apply to supervised archery ranges or instruction nor when otherwise lawfully authorized.
