Perry Village elected officials and staff is perusing economic development opportunities to enhance needed future operational revenue. Through the PEDC & JEDD we are promoting the 230 acre former Champion Farm property for mixed use development.
Recently Perry Village Council approved a 277 home PUD housing development within the Village to begin in the fall of 2018 with a projected build out of less than five years.

The Champion Farm Joint Land Study is a multi-jurisdictional collaboration between the Perry Economic Development Council, Perry Township, Village of Perry, Village of North Perry and Perry Local Schools Board of Education with the purpose of establishing a highest and best use for the proposed redevelopment of the 230-acre former nursery site that strengthens the local tax base.
